Le poil du Lagotto est un poil rustique et dense, ayant un sous poil.
Ce sont des chiens dit « hypoallérgique » car ils ne perdent (casiment) pas leur poil, ce qui explique la nécessité d’un entretien régulier.
Le chien d’eau romagnole reste encore un chien dis « rare » c’est pour cela que malheureusement la plupart des toiletteurs ne connaissent pas la race, ainsi que leur type de poil, et utilisent donc les techniques habituelles de toilettage... ( caniche, bichon frisé... ) et votre compagnon sortira du salon de toilettage avec une coiffure non approprié et un poil abîmé.
C’est pour cela que toutes les instructions nécessaires pour entretenir un poil de chien de compagnie, d’un chien de travail / sport ou bien d’un chien d’exposition vous serons transmise de notre part lors de votre visite.
